Yenrescue ("we", "us") operates yenrescue.com, an independent guide to Japan's tax refund system for visitors. This page explains what data the site touches and what it does not.

Analytics — no cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across sites. We only see aggregate numbers such as page views, country-level origin, and page performance. We do not use Google Analytics, and we do not collect, store, or sell personal information.

Advertising

The site currently shows no ads. In the future, we may display ads through Google AdSense on some pages. If we do:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising inGoogle Ads Settingsor atwww.aboutads.info/choices.
• Ads will never appear in theTroubleshooting section. That part of the site is a permanently ad-free zone.

We will update this policy before any ads go live.

Affiliate disclosure

Some pages in the Basics and Timing sections may containaffiliate links. If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only mention products or services where they are directly useful in context (for example, receiving your refund from abroad), and affiliate relationships never change what we recommend. The Troubleshooting section contains no affiliate links, ever.

Yenrescue itself sets no cookies today. If third-party advertising is introduced later, those vendors may set cookies as described above; you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
